Many of Hudson Mohawke’s original elements are present in El Cartel’s version, just multiply the energy level by 1000. Boombox Cartel has been playing this remix in their sets over the last couple of months, including in their set at CircuitGROUNDS at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas last month; and we would not be surprised if that’s not the only set you’ve heard it in lately. Cartel’s remix of “Cbat” will absolutely get your head knockin’, and it’s just another in a long line of tunes that have made Boombox Cartel a household name in the industry. There’s no doubt in our mind that we’ll continue hearing this one in sets all summer long, and most likely even longer.
