Deadmau5 has been hard at work in the studio over the past week after signing a brand new hip-hop artist named Shotty Horroh to his Mau5trap label. While the rapper has only been a part of the Mau5trap team since Friday, July 21, he already has collaborations with label head deadmau5 and fellow labelmate Rezz.

The same day that Shotty Horroh was signed, deadmau5 took to Instagram to post a preview of a track they had already made. On Tuesday, July 25, Deadmau5 posted yet another song of theirs on Instagram to tease their collaboration even further.

The 35-second clip features clear vocals from the new Mau5trap artist over a bass-heavy beat that sits somewhere between dubstep, bass house and hip-hop. The video itself just shows a cup of Tim Horton’s coffee sitting on a stool in the studio with the caption being, “covfefe.”

Directly after his signing, Shotty Horroh tweeted that he was already in the studio with Deadmau5 and Rezz, so this very well could be a collaborative track between the three of them. Check out the Instagram teaser of the track below, and let’s hope we get some more previews and releases soon.
