Budweiser Will Host the New ‘Freedom Stage’ at Tomorrowland

At exactly a month away from the first weekend of Tomorrowland 2017, the Belgium-based festival has announced an entirely new stage set-up. And rumor has it that it that this new stage will be the replacement for the former Opera Stage. The festival just posted a promotional video on Instagram highlighting the theme of “Freedom”. It adds the “power to act, speak, or think as one wants” as the defining principle of the stage. The “Freedom Stage” will compliment the central theme of the festival; “Amicorum Spectaculum”(meaning “show of friends” in Latin). And the host of this stage will be none other than the beer powerhouse Budweiser.

The monumental 2-weekend festival will kick-off its first weekend July 21-23. What sets Tomorrowland apart from a lot of other mainstream music festivals is its incorporation of record labels, collectives, and individual artists across genres as hosts of their own stages. Festival-goers can anticipate a spectrum of sounds, genres, and exceptional talent from around the world at the highly-anticipated gathering in Boom, Belgium. With only a month away, it’s still not too late to book your ticket to Belgium.
