The Vinyl Festival: Printworks

A new festival dedicated to vinyl music and recordings will take place this coming September at London’s Printworks night club. The first of its kind in the UK, The Vinyl Festival will offer 6,000 attendees an “immersive vinyl experience.” Festival goers can purchase vinyl recordings from one of 100 stalls, have their existing records evaluated by a team of experts, and browse the latest audio technology.

The Vinyl Festival will take place Saturday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 24th. Q&A panels with Tim Burgess, Huey Morgan, Edith Bowman and Steve Lamacq will also take place, in addition to the quartet DJ’ing the event over the weekend.

The editor-at-large and founder of Long Live Vinyl, Ian Peel, had this to say about his publisher’s event:

“The Vinyl Festival celebrates the very best of the format we all love, and is exactly what our readers have been crying out for. We’re incredibly proud to bring you everything from a massive record fair to some of the UK’s finest indie labels and some top headline DJ performances, all under one roof.”

General Admission tickets for the event range from £16 to £40, with VIP tickets also available. Learn more about the event on Resident Advisor, here.
