The Chainsmokers made their way to Las Vegas this weekend for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards and walked away winners. The DJ duo was nominated for over 20 awards and took home the trophies for:

  1. Top Hot 100 Song – ‘Closer’ feat. Halsey
  2. Top Collaboration – ‘Closer’ feat. Halsey

Since 2014, The Chainsmokers have gone from #SELFIE to trophy on a seemingly never-ending train of success. They have accumulated a lot of recognition and their work has reached a favorable outcome at events such as the BMAs. The annual awards ceremony honors artists across all genres, but dance music was not left out in the pool of winner’s this year. The Chainsmokers were amongst big names such as Drake, Beyonce, Adele, and Justin Bieber. You can watch their full BMA performance of ‘Young’ here or check out a clip down below.
