Apple’s iPhone 8 Final Design Leaked as New Photos Surfaced

Apple has stuck with a relatively similar phone model since 2014 when the iPhone 6 debuted with a larger-than-normal display size and packed with new features. The following iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 were both essentially an upgraded iPhone 6. Finally, we are seeing what looks like a final mockup of the bold new iPhone 8 which will bring a brand new taste to the i-world and its loyal fans.

Although the iPhone 7s is expected to be released this fall season, most die-hard Apple following will be holding out on upgrading until the 8 hits the shelves. So, let’s talk about the iPhone 8…

The 8 will feature a brand new OLED display. A quick Google search will tell you that OLED is “a light-emitting diode (LED) in which the emissive electroluminescent layer is a film of organic compound that emits light in response to an electric current.” The screen will outplay the Samsung Galaxy’s 83% screen-to-body ratio by completely removing the traditional home button. The recently released dummy photos of the iPhone 8 body would suggest no fingerprint sensor would mean that Apple is going to embed the sensor itself into the screen.

The back of the phone (photo above) will be somewhat different to what current iPhone owners are used to. It would appear as if the backside was made out of glass and features a vertically designed camera, rather than the horizontal style on iPhone 6 and 7 models. There is some thought that the new camera design is to additional augmented reality features that are not currently available on any smartphone. Although the general design has now been made public, there is still a lot of unknowns. No, the iPhone 8 will not have a headphone jack.
