After weeks of speculation, we can confidently say that Mysteryland USA 2017 has been cancelled. Over the past few months, there had been hints that the festival was on the rocks. Posts were made all over Reddit claiming that the festival had been encountering difficulties with their parent brand, which led to their absence of social media promotions. Soon after, headlining acts, such as LCD Soundsystem, began withdrawing Mysteryland from their list of tour dates, which only further hinted at a possible cancelation. Ekali would then comment on a Reddit post to state that Mysteryland had indeed been canceled, sealing the festival’s fate.
