Martin Garrix has taken over the dance world and made a name for himself as an industry leader at the young age of 20. He has already won a handful of awards, titles, and toured all over the world; he even went through a lawsuit and emerged on the other side with his own imprint STMPD Records last year. Now, he is launching his own recording studio in Amsterdam.
The famous studio is currently called FC Walvisch, known for hosting an array of A-list talent consisting of Lady Gaga, Pharrell Williams, David Guetta, RedOne, and many more. Garrix will be renaming, rebranding, and refurbishing the studio into STMPD’s creative space.
According to Garrix’s team, the studio will be: “the place in Amsterdam where writers, musicians, and producers from all over the world can get together to create amazing music in an inspiring environment.”
Although Garrix is taking over many of the operations, FC Walvisch will continue with post-production, sound design and music production. You can check out the website for his new studio here.
