Electric Heart Movie Premiere

Last night a few hundred lucky guests got to experience the West Coast premiere of Electric Heart. When we first heard about this cinematic experiment, we weren’t sure what to expect from dance music’s first silent film. But after seeing it, we hope that future electronic music based projects reach this level of expressive creativity and production quality.

The story followed best friends Bryan and Andres on their great pilgrimage to “America!”, a music festival hosted in Las Vegas. As expected, hitting many speed bumps along the way is something anyone who’s gone on a road trip can attest to (it’s all part of the journey, right?). The duo goes on the adventure of a lifetime to make it to the festival of the summer. Without giving too much away, because you should definitely see it for yourself, Bryan is battling some pretty serious personal problems. He desperately hopes that this weekend will bring some happiness and an old love back into his life. To say in a nutshell, he got a lot more than he was prepared for. New friends, run ins with the cops, some hippies dosing him and his buddy, and a proper Vegas experience are only the beginning. Electric Heart worked their way through comedy, romance, and pure party shenanigans accompanied by a soundtrack of some of the biggest names in electronic music- Armin Van Buuren, Dash Berlin, W & W and Brothers Grim just to name a few.

Overall, the event and premiere was a massive success. It had everyone talking about their first festival experiences, “that one time in Vegas” stories, and the joys of sharing music with your best friends. Kudos to Scott Little, Benjamin Mattingly and everyone else who brought this film to life to remind us why love and music are so interconnected!
