Disneyland Paris Launching Music Festival Called Electroland

Electroland

The Disney brand is known to be pretty well rounded and partake in most things profitable and suitable for children and families. Now, they are officially entering the music festival game by throwing an EDM Festival called Electroland: Where Music Meets Magic at their Disneyland Paris theme park.

The one-day festival will feature a lineup of Steve Aoki, Nervo, Michael Calfan and Richard Orlinski and will go from 7 p.m. To midnight on Saturday, July 8. Both Calfan and Orlinski are French DJ’s, while Aoki is American while Nervo are from Australia.

The 10,000 person capacity event will take place to celebrate Disneyland Paris’ 25th anniversary and will take place a sectioned off area in the actual park. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will serve as the backdrop and will be decked out with mapping projections across the front of it creating a truly magical experience.

Ticket holders will have access to the rides, bars, and restaurants throughout the park from 7 p.m. onward and an upgraded pass gets you access to both Disney parks beginning at 4 p.m.

In the past, Disney’s primary entrance into the world of dance music has been through lawsuits with both Deadmau5 and Tomorrowland. This time around, however, Disney is trying to bring in a positive impact on the community with a brand new event that could potentially make its way to other Disney parks around the world including in Anaheim, Florida and Tokyo.

Hopefully, Disney will take advantage of this and sell some Mickey Mouse LED gloves and ears. Get your tickets and find out more information from Disney’s website here and prepare for a brand new show that will surely include tons of fireworks.
