It’s been over a year Avicii announced his retirement from performing live shows. With the initial public statement, the producer made it clear that he planned on remaining in the studio, creating new music. While 2016 didn’t bring about new tunes for the Swedish DJ, the new Avicii.com posted a new graphic which would imply that 2017 will be a new start for Avicii music.
Pictured below, on the artist’s homepage, is a white image of “2016” next to a pause icon, and in warmer colors, “2017”, and a play button. The images don’t link to anything directly. It’s not clear exactly what the graphic means, but it’s safe to assume that the club music producer has something planned for this year.
