Skrillex Officially Rejoins From First To Last Following “Make War”

From First To LastIn early February, Sonny Moore, better known as Skrillex stirred up a lot of buzz when news arose that he had made a surprise guest performance with former band, From First To Last.

For those of you who were unaware, before Sonny Moore became the iconic dubstep DJ, Skrillex, Moore was the lead vocalist of a post-hardcore/emo band named From First To Last. Following Moore’s departure from the band in 2007 to pursue his solo project, fellow bandmate, Matt Gold took over the lead vocalist position in the band. However, almost a decade after his departure, Moore would surprise the world by performing the vocals of the bands latest hit “Make War“. Moore then made a special guest appearance at a From First To Last performance at an Emo Night event in Los Angeles, California. The rumors of a potential band reunion would flare to the fullest when Skrillex said “I guess I left the band, but I would say I’m not left anymore. I’m not stopping what I’m doing with Skrillex either, but I haven’t left anymore.”, when asked at the Grammy’s about his role in his former band.

Finally after months of anticipation, the band took to social media yesterday and uploaded the follow photo to confirm Moore’s return to From First to Last.

Signs of Moore’s reunion to the band first arose when bandmate, Spencer Sotelo, hinted at his return in a twitter post in August of 2016, which, “coincidentally”, was also the month that Jack Ü announced their mysterious sudden termination. Could Moore’s reunion with his former band be the answer to the split of Jack Ãœ? What does the reunion mean for Skrillex solo project? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
