POOLCLVB – Waiting for You
Australia’s POOLCLVB unleashes a brand new track for 2017 that’ll make you want to join the clvb. The new track, named ‘Waiting for You’, is a hot new house track with chill tropical vibes.
Opening up with the sound of waves crashing, POOLCLVB’s new track already places you a quiet beach. Feelings of nostalgia will come over you as the soothing vocals, calypso chimes and the light drum beats layer perfectly with each other. ‘Waiting for You’ is striking different than POOLCLVB’s previous releases, which are more upbeat and funky.
The EP was released with two remixes by Walker & Royce and Flash ’89. The Walker & Royce remix has an avant-garde/grungier sound while Flash ’89 take on the song in a more dark and intense manner with more layers of drum beats and lower sounding synths. The vocals were the main focus for both remixes and the DJs’ goals were to bring out the vocals by altering chord progressions.
POOLCLVB will be finishing up his ‘You + Me EP Tour’ in Australia this March.
