Get Lost Was One of Miami’s Wildest Parties

The 12th Session of Get Lost kicked off at the usual time of 5:00 in the morning at Little River Studios, the intimate venue in a mostly industrial district of Miami, Fl. Get Lost is always an interesting event that covers a broad spectrum of underground electronic music, including tech house, deep house, melodic and dark techno, and more for 24 hours. It’s curator, Damian Lazarus, can be seen walking around the crowd in the small but spacious stage areas. Funktion-One sound systems at each of the 4 stages make the sound so crisp and clear that you can have a slightly above normal volume conversation right next to the speakers, and they are just as loud 50 yards away.

The line-up this year included the likes of Art Department, Bedouin, Bill Patrick, Dennis Ferrer, Francesca Lombardo, Guti, Guy Gerber, Kenny Glasgow, Pan-Pot, Satori, Soul Clap, and of course Damian himself, to name a few. Special guest Seth Troxler made an appearance for a b2b set with Bill Patrick at the Santorini stage, which was an acoustically friendly concrete alleyway decorated in white and blue. Jackmaster made a guest appearance as well, playing the dark Nest stage on the other side of the wall just before Damian Lazarus, Art Department, and DJ Three played a final b2b to close out the show. Probably the most interesting moment of the event was during this triple b2b when Kenny Glasgow appeared to rejoin Art Department for a moment to sing an old track they produced together. All in all it was a party that had to be seen to be believed.
