Deadmau5 Offers to Play at Ultra if Anyone Drops Out

Despite not being on the lineup at Ultra this year, none other than deadmau5 has managed to get his name in the news. With one tweet, the Mau5 caused a flurry of rumors about whether he is planning a surprise appearance at the festival. Recently, Zedd, who is scheduled to play the main stage tonight, dealt with a variety of ailments including exhaustion and food poisoning, and the tweet below appears to take a playful shot at the Russian/German producer’s misfortune.

As of now, no replacement set for anyone appears imminent, but deadmau5 is certainly no stranger to last minute Ultra sets. In 2014 he played a very memorable set filling in for Avicii, and replaced The Prodigy last year. However unlikely it is that deadmau5 ends up playing a set at Ultra this year, we’ll keep you updated should something drastic occur.
