W&W To Return To Trance Under Side Project ‘NWYR’ At Ultra 2017

NWYR

Yesterday, Ultra Music Festival finally dropped a monstrous phase 2 lineup with plenty of big names, but also a lot of artist alias projects from Ferry Corsten, Arty, Sander van Doorn and more. However, one of the biggest surprise aliases was hiding in plain sight and few even noticed it.

A few weeks ago on Hardwell’s On Air 300 celebration, W&W mentioned that they were working on a side project and had tons of new music waiting to go. Then yesterday, Ultra fans asked where W&W was on the lineup to which Ultra responded.

This combined with several posts and fans asking who the mysterious NWYR is feels like enough proof to us. Ultra isn’t one to name a completely random artist to its phase 2 lineup, so there must be a reason why NWYR is on there. Then you’ll notice that the ‘Y’ has a ‘W’ formation that essentially creates W&W within NWYR. When you put 2+2 together, it’s plain that NWYR is W&W’s rumored return to the trance scene.

That means ASOT in 2017 features aliases from Arty, Ferry Corsten, W&W, and Sander van Doorn. This should be interesting to say the least, so we’ll have to wait and see what they have in store for us in Miami.
