Skrillex Plays With From First To Last After 10 Years

Skrillex, born as Sonny John Moore, is an extremely eclectic musician – being a world renowned DJ and producer as well as the front man for the post hardcore rock band, From First To Last, between the years of 2004-2006. Skrillex has won a record breaking 8 Grammy Awards, which is the world record for any electronic dance music artist. Recently, From First to Last has been in the news because of their newest release Make War, which features Skrillex back on vocals.

This newest collaboration has been a god send for From First to Last fans, as well as fellow post hardcore enthusiasts, as it is a return to Skrillex’s original roots. It was inevitable that this would lead to a live performance – and so after 10 years since their last performance together as a band, they brought the nostalgia back for a live show during LA’s Emo Night!

The set list included hits such as “Note to Self” and “The One Armed Boxer vs. the Flying Guillotine”, both being from Deary Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, which was released in 2004.

We can only hope that this means that there’s a reunion tour in the works! Listen to their Emo Night performance below.
