Printworks’ Opening Night in London Was a Hit

With an impressive opening night, London’s newest venue has already proved itself as a leader in the underground scene. Printworks started off their venture with a 7-hour back to back lineup featuring Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers and Seth Troxler.  With talent like that, it was sure to be a memorable night, but the ambiance and production value is truly what sets Printworks apart.  With a capacity of nearly 5,000 people, six different event areas and multiple levels, this space offered the perfect setting for larger avant-garde gatherings.

Printworks used to be home to one of the largest press printing facilities in London, retaining all of the warehouse fixtures that are now giving it that truly underground warehouse feeling. Add in a VOID sound system and an elaborate lighting rig structure, and you’ve got all the necessities for a successful venue.  The rest of February’s lineup includes artists like Maya Jane Coles, Max Cooper, Floating Points and many more. You can even virtually check out the event space on February 25th as Mixmag live streams Adam Beyer’s debut performance. For now, you can watch Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers and Seth Troxler below.
