Back again in our favorite city – the Desert Hearts crew is arriving in San Francisco this weekend to play at Public Works on Saturday, 2/25 on another leg of their City Hearts tour. This time, the crew is bringing out Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, Porkchop, and R. Fentz on the main floor, with Fritz Carlton, Lubelski and Bengal in the loft.

The City Hearts events are some of our favorite shows to catch in San Francisco, as the Desert Hearts tribe brings out the most wonderful costumes, beats and individuals. As an ongoing attendee of the event, I’ve made numerous friends in the crowd – more than any other show I’ve been to – and you can always have faith in the fact that you’ll be surrounded by people who are there to truly appreciate the music and dedicate their night to house, techno and love. If you can’t make it down to their bi-annual Desert Hearts Festival in Southern California, attending this event will absolutely give you a taste of what it’s like.

As we’re getting ready for this night of shenanigans, we thought we’d share our love of Desert Hearts music with you and pick three of our favorite (though, there are very many) sets from these guys. With a wide range in years, it’s clear that their tracks are truly timeless and always something that’ll keep you dancing and grooving.

Mikey Lion – How To Love

R. Fentz – 3 Seconds After

Porkchop – Live At Desert Hearts Spring 2016

Presale tickets are still available, though they will likely sell out – grab yours here before they’re gone.
