Eric Prydz surprised us this week after Assad Khan asked about the release of his EPIC mix of the popular track, ‘The Gift‘. The Swedish DJ entertained the idea of giving the fan what he wanted by offering it to the world in exchange for 2,000 likes on the tweet. Throughout the day, fans hoped for the tweet to reach its goal and they blew it out of the water with almost 3,000 likes.
The classic hit was released in 2012, but Prydz has been holding onto a mix that is very dear to some and they have not forgotten about the dust the track has collected in the vault. There was also talk of the track’s planned release before the tweet and even a slot in his new album for 2017 on reddit.
