EDC Las Vegas Is Introducing A New Stage In 2017

Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) has been viewed as the pinnacle festival in the electronic music scene for years, specifically the Las Vegas edition.  The three-day festival has been held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway since 2011 and has been rapidly growing since. Each night, over 135,000 music lovers attend the event, finding their way to one of the many different stages or art cars. Earlier this month, founder Pasquale Rotella hinted at the theme for the main stage, Kinetic Field.  This year, the stage is taking on the mythological name ‘Kinetic Gaia‘, introducing a storyline of a worldwide community gathering and night owl connection.

For festival attendees, there is even more exciting news.  In an interview with the Las Vegas Review Journal, Rotella mentioned the set up is going to be changing to accommodate a new addition.  EDC will be introducing an entirely new stage that is being tailored to a “genre of music that’s really grown a lot in the States in the past couple of years.”  Could it be a Dreamstate influenced stage? Maybe future bass, tech house or drum and bass? There are so many possibilities, we will have to wait for the lineup announcement to see.  Rotella also mentioned that the 2017 edition will feature artists that EDC has never seen before. With constant innovation and making each year a unique experience, EDC continues to be one of the most influential festivals in the business.
