YOOKiE – SUBS
New York based duo YOOKiE have had a HUGE 2016 – they signed with AM Only for their booking, released a huge remix for NGHTMRE & Dillon Francis on Mad Decent and recently had an official release on Never Say Die Records alongside Slander. They made a name for themselves with the most forward thinking cuts in bass music, and this week they may have just delivered their darkest one to date on Kannibalen Records. Upon pressing play this record transports you to an alternate dimension draped in darkness. The production on ‘Subs’ is minimal, yet the sound design is masterful.
