Even artists as huge as Porter Robinson look to other artists in admiration of their own music – and this legendary DJ and producer, who has been taking the globe by storm with his latest collaborative tour with Madeon, has taken the time this holiday season to let Triple J know his top ten tracks for this year.
The list includes major artists on the scene including The Wknd, Lido, M83 and more. He calls out a few tracks and albums in particular, including Chance The Rapper’s new album “Coloring Book”:
Coloring Book was definitely my favourite record of the year and ‘Same Drugs’ was the standout for me. It’s my exact sensibility right now with chords and instrumentation, and the emotion hits me juuust right!
