“All We Know” may not be as popular as its sister track “Closer“, but it is still one hell of a song, and even more so of a music video. Catchy melodies coupled with the soft and delicate voice of Phoebe Ryan come together to create a tune that is simultaneously emotional and uplifting.
The Chainsmokers appear quite modest in this video, as they only make a cameo appearance for a few seconds. The story follows a young man who seems to have the world weighing down on him. Naturally, as any of us do in a stressful situation, he seeks out his vices and expresses his anger through rash decisions. The video portrays the strong message that everyone goes through their own struggles so we should not be so quick to judge someone, especially when we have no idea what they are juggling.
