Ondalinda to Bring Festival to Costa Careyes on Dia de Los Muertos Weekend

photo Flyer-Full_zpstkj6wn94.jpgIn the wake of boutique music and lifestyle festivals that have been sweeping the globe, Ondalinda is bringing its inaugural party to the idyllic beaches of Costa Careyes, Mexico on October 27-30. The event marks the celebration of Dia de los Muertos weekend, to which Ondalinda will be bringing 400 individuals to experience an incredible lineup of international artists, art installations, and activities on the Mexican coastline.

Artists include global heavyweights like Audiofly, Blond:ish, Sabo, NU, and HVOB, along with LUM, Gandalla, Mendrix and The Happy Show. Guests can also look forward to the Mayan Warrior Art Car which made a stellar appearance at Burning Man 2016, which was painted by the visionary artist Alex Gray and improved with an upgraded spread of lights and lasers.

Above all else, Ondalinda is a homage to the Huichol people that are indigenous to the area. The event is an attempt to immerse guests into the Huichol culture as well as to preserve and support the sacred land of Costa Careyes with a portion of the profits from the festival being donated to the Huichol community, in this endeavor.
