As New York’s biggest dance music festival quickly approaches, the people of Electric Zoo have recently announced the official anthem for this year’s event. Codeko’s single “Walking With Lions” featuring RAPHAELLA encompasses all the significant aspects of a festival – spending time with friends, escaping the real world, and finding yourself in complete bliss.
“We have always wanted to produce a festival anthem that represents the theme of our festival that would resonate with our fans,” said Electric Zoo Festival Director Adam Richman. “There is no questions Codeko’s Walking With Lions does exactly that.”
As London-based RAPHAELLA’s lyricism praises the notions of community and excitement, the track’s progressive house elements filter in a euphoric horn piece and intoxicating synth work to bring the piece together. Fitting perfectly in both sound and style, Codeko’s “Walking With Lions” is a transcendent, feel-good treasure that is well-deserving of being Electric Zoo’s first official anthem.
