Plastik Funk – This Is It
This tune took me by surprise. Armada Deep continues to be a must-follow on social media, with tracks like this proving why. A galloping, almost euphoric tune, Plastik Funk got everything right on this release. It’s a fun little summer beat that makes me think of day club parties, done exceptionally by the German duo of Rafael Ximenez and Mikio Gruschinske. These two have gotten a lot of support from a surprising array of headliners, from Garrix to Bakermat. The simple effectiveness of this tune speaks to why. It’s not too complicated, not too full of itself, but hits all the marks needed to create an infectious, bouncy free download that should see a lot more support as the summer goes on.
