EDMTunes’ Top 20 Tracks From The First Half Of 2016 (Numbers 20-11)

Now that June has (almost) come and gone, we can officially look back at the first half of 2016. Over these first six months, we’ve published some pretty wild stories. SFX filing for bankruptcy, Avicii retiring from touring and Zedd lending a helping hand to Kesha were some of our biggest pieces so far, but at the end of the day, what really matters is the music. We’ve been graced with some fantastic tunes as of late and we would be doing the artists a disservice if we didn’t give them the proper recognition.

In order to determine the EDMTunes Top 20, the editors created a Facebook poll and asked our staff to select their 10 favorite tracks of 2016. In order to ensure that the list wasn’t “too obscure” or “too mainstream”, we also requested that people take both quality and popularity into consideration when voting. Ties were broken by the editing team.

Our list features quite the eclectic mix of tracks and is definitely representative of the uniqueness of the EDMT family. We hope you enjoy numbers 20-11 below and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Top 10, which will go live tomorrow.
