Michael Brun Announces 'Wherever I Go' Beach Party to Benefit Haiti's Audio Institute

Haitian producer Michael Brun has been showing some love for his home country lately. Earlier this year, he released his single Wherever I Go to benefit the Haitian organization Artists for Justice and Peace. Now, he’s planned his return to Haiti for the ‘Wherever I Go Beach Fest‘ to raise money for scholarships on behalf of the Audio Institute in Jacmel, Haiti.

“The message of this event is to show that the students were able to create a career for themselves through education and working together,” said Brun. “I want people to see this not as charity, but as a way to empower these students to create livelihoods through hard work.”

Brun will be joined by the likes of other Haitian artists like J. Perry, TonyMix, Bullet, Gardy, and DZgot. This is really cool, guys. To make it clear, ‘Wherever I Go’ was made with the students from the Audio Institute. Essentially, by working on music with Michael, they have helped future students at the Audio Institute get a free education. This festival is a perfect encapsulation of globalization and connectivity, and it’s great to see dance music being at the forefront of such activations.
