Hardwell is more than just a gifted musician. Aside from topping DJ Mag’s top 100 DJ list twice and receiving many other honors for his contribution to electronic music, the Dutch producer also started a children’s education support organization named United We Are Foundation. Founded during the summer of 2015, this charitable organization shows that Hardwell has bigger things in mind than being the best DJ. His dedication to the children of the future shows that he has more to offer than smash hits.
In yet another philanthropic effort, Hardwell has agreed to perform for the United Nations during an event that will be held at their New York headquarters.  The event is organized by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Johan Cruyff Foundation, and it will take place on June 16. In addition to performing, Hardwell will be able to promote his charity and discuss soccer as a means of peacemaking along with Frank Rijkaard and other retired soccer players. With all of the wonderful things he has done for the world and for electronic music, how could anybody not like him?
