House of Yes Mysteryland

House of Yes Mysteryland

As the third edition of Mysteryland USA quickly approaches, event organizers are going above and beyond to create an incomparable weekend experience. The festival has recently announced a full culture and arts lineup that is bursting with a ton of new Mysteryland firsts as well as some beloved veteran exhibits.

Returning to the Bethel Center of the Arts grounds on June 10-13th will be the beloved Incendia 50’ fire dome, deep house yoga, the Healing Garden (curated by Sarah Schroder), and a special speakers series hosted by NPR personality Anya Kamenetz.

“Mysteryland is a departure from the norm,” says Anya Kamenetz. “The festival continues to develop and grow in its programming and really feels fresh even as it’s grounded in history.”

The festival’s newest features and exhibits are a state-of-the-art approach to the overall “festival experience”. With activities like a comedy tent on Friday and a late night movie night on Saturday night, festival goers will have a plethora of activities to choose from whenever they find themselves looking for something beyond the music. A number of performance artists and professional party people will also be breathing life into the weekend. The House of Yes will be showcasing a spectacle of circus and performance art through aerialists, choreographed parades, dancing, and overall weirdness, while the people of Guerilla Science spin up some mischief with Sensory Speed Dating and cross-dimension space travel. There will also be a mix of food and clothing vendors, a mixed martial arts workshop, and various other interactive exhibits.

Mysteryland is also prepared to make someone’s festival experience even better. The festival has teamed up with Splice to host a remix contest for Gramatik’s single “Anima Mundi.” One lucky winner will be flown via helicopter into the festival and open up the Boat stage on Saturday. You can enter the contest on Splice’s website.

Ticket and camping options are still available here.
