Pack your bags, we’re heading to Baltimore. Moonrise Festival has finally announced their 2016 phase one lineup and it was well worth the wait. Annual festival closer Bassnectar will return to Pimlico Race Course joined by fellow headliners Tiesto & Zedd.

In its first two years, Moonrise recruited a significantly bass-heavy lineup supplemented by a smaller selection of dance music’s finest electro and trance acts. While there is no shortage of bass music on the 2016 lineup, it is clear that the Moonrise promotors have kept up with the changes in their fan base’s musical taste. Bro Safari, Excision, Flosstradamus, Flux Pavilion, and newcomer NGHTMRE are sure to satisfy the trap, dubstep and bassheads that Moonrise attracts. However, this year those acts will be slightly overshadowed by the wealth of funky, future & deep house artists that have gained massive popularity over the last few years. In addition to those we’ve already mentioned, Gramatik, Griz, Jauz, Marshmello, Oliver Heldens, Tchami and SNBRN will each be throwing down their distinctive blends of sound during on this epic weekend. Take a look at the full lineup below, your jaw is sure to drop.
