Tragedy has befallen the official kickoff event for A State of Trance 750 in Utrecht. Trance legend Paul Van Dyk apparently fell 20 feet from the stage during his set. Armin van Buuren has made an official statement and will not play his closing vinyl set out of respect and concern for Paul. The other stages will remain open, however. Paul is currently at the hospital, and Armin has promised to keep the fans updated as to his condition. Immediately, support poured in on social media from trance artists around the world and the entire trance family. Our prayers go out to Paul Van Dyk at this time.
