Deorro – No More Promises EP
It’s been a while since Deorro really took us by storm. This past year saw him playing at a few major festivals, including Coachella and EDC Vegas, and uploading bootlegs on SoundCloud just for the heck of it. But now, the leader of Panda Funk finally gets serious with the arrival of his new EP, No More Promises, where he fuses together thumping bass, progressive elements, dirty dutch, and moombah. The 3-track EP features collaborations with the likes of Will Sparks (“Haters”), Dirty Audio (“Without Love”) and ZooFunktion (“The Way You Move”). iE-Z and Miss Palmer also provide the vocals individually on the first two tracks respectively. No More Promises contains massive club-ready mixes bursting with humor, and a bit of folk country twang in parts.
It’s going to be a big year for Deorro next year in light of this new EP. Hopefully new material will keep on coming.
