The 5 Acts You Must See at Lights All Night Dallas

There is no better way to ring in the new year than dancing the night away to live music. New Year’s Eve always brings a multitude of exceptional electronic music shows, and this year is no exception. Whether it is the surreal winter wonderland of SnowGlobe in Lake Tahoe, or the absolutely stacked lineup Chicago’s Reaction is boasting, there are some excellent options for those looking to rave. Lights All Night is possibly the biggest event of them all, with its massive lineup and prime location at Market Hall in Dallas. If you’re lucky enough to attend this New Year’s extravaganza, here are five artists you must make sure to catch.

Salva– The Los Angeles based producer is a beat-making king, crafting electrifying trap that is sure to invigorate the dullest of crowds. The talented artist has made a name for himself with a string of exceptional RL Grime collaborations, so expect a similarly energized set.

The M Machine– This unique electronic duo out of San Francisco refuses to let genre boundaries define their production. Their live sets reflect their multi-dimensional production abilities, seamlessly crossing the musical spectrum from deep and melodic house to electrifying progressive bangers.

Snails– If you’ve ever been to a Snails show, you may suffer from whiplash, deafness or both. Be prepared to hear a lot of Snails’ aptly named vomitstep, the genre name he coined to describe his chaotically frenzied and raucously wild style of music.

Claude VonStroke– The DirtyBird head honcho just had a massive 2015, starting his own Birdhouse radio show and traveling the country on his uniquely personal DirtyBird BBQ tour. Barclay Crenshaw puts on an exceptional live show, so be sure to catch his brand of deep and dark tech.

Porter Robinson– While his live shows feature stunning visuals and completely immerse you in the fantasy world of his debut album, there is something to be said for Porter Robinson’s DJ sets. Whether you are a fan nostalgic for Porter’s old complextro style or someone who has never seen Porter before at all, this is a set you absolutely cannot miss.
