Voodoo Cancels Final Day Due To Dangerous Weather

Voodoo

Voodoo Music & Arts Experience in New Orleans, Louisiana was forced to cancel the third and final day of the festival due to dangerous weather conditions. After day one was graced with sunshine and blue skies, periodic showers moved into the area on day two, but nothing serious enough to cause any delays. Unfortunately, on Sunday morning, festival-goers woke up to the unpleasant news that day three was forced to cancel due to persistent rain and flooding inside New Orleans’ City Park.

Despite Voodoo being a rain or shine event, the consistent overnight rain on Saturday into Sunday caused enough water to build up inside the venue to make it necessary for event organizers to cancel. Notable artists that were cancelled include Chance the Rapper, Zac Brown Band, Bro Safari, Eric Prydz, and deadmau5. Fortunately, for those who planned on attending day three, Voodoo organizers have decided to make an exception to their normal no refund policy and will be offering full refunds for 1/3 of the full price for three-day pass holders and all one-day pass holders will be eligible for a full refund as well. You can see the more than fair refund policy below and we hope those who went enjoyed the incredible two days of Voodoo that did take place. For more information, check out the festival’s website.
