Icon is Miami’s Newest Superclub

Over the summer we told you about the end of an era in Miami’s. One of its longest running nightclubs of 11 years, Mansion, was closing down. However, in the bustling business of nightlife few venues rarely stay closed forever. Mansion was actually purchased by Icon Hospitality, and the venue will officially be reopened as Icon Nightclub. The club will be refitted with an art-deco inspired theme that looks back to the days when the space was owned by Al Capone and later Prince. One of the partners in Icon, Emi Guerra was hopeful that the club will become a destination once again.

“We truly believe that our cutting-edge technology, that is unique to the space and yet-to-be-seen, will set us apart both in South Beach but also position the venue as a global destination. We have a high bar to reach as Mansion had an 11-year successful track record, and we are working hard to carry out and surpass the expectations that exist.”

At this point we have no renderings, images, or even an opening date but the club is hosting a casting call on November 24. You can bet that Icon will be ready to impress during Miami’s busy and high profile Christmas and New Years period.
