Daft Punk Documentary ‘Unchained’ Coming To US Television

unchained

The duo that helped shape one of the biggest eras of our generation is now coming straight to your living room. While Daft Punk‘s documentary, Unchained, is heading straight to store shelves in France, it is being broadcasted in the US on December 10 through the Showtime network.

Members Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem Christo have enjoyed quite a successful career, as is apparent in the six Grammy awards and 12 nominations that the duo have received for their work. From modest beginnings in the Paris suburbs to touring the world and becoming a household name, the documentary delves into their massive rise to fame and features interviews with the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Pete Tong, Giorgio Moroder and many more.

As for the documentary’s theme music, Joseph Trapanese has been fittingly enlisted to produce the soundtrack for them. Trapanese has previously collaborated with Daft Punk on the release of the Tron: Legacy score.

Tune in to Showtime on December 10 to get a look inside how two Frenchmen have taken over the electronic music scene with their masterful sound.
