A male student was allegedly assaulted, Friday night, during a Zedd concert at the Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State. The victim was taken to the Mount Nittany Medical Center with injuries to his eye, forehead and knee. According to the police report, the victim was allegedly attacked by 3 unidentified males in the standing section of the show. While the cause of this altercation still unknown, police are looking for the possible suspects.
This recent case, is a reminder of the series of unfortunate events that the electronic music scene has witnessed all summer long. Whether we’re talking about the TomorrowWorld fiasco or the HARD Summer deaths, measures have to be taken to make sure tragedies like this are prevented. Event organizers need to focus on security and safety, while attendees need to ensure that they are partying responsibly and respecting those around them.
