option4 – Vibe On
After taking a year off of remixing to work on some original material, Denver local celebrity Brennen Bryarly and label boss to Night Supply Records, better known to some as option4, has finally broken radio silence with the first track off his fresh EP Vibe On/Say Woo, which is out on Nurvous Records next Monday.
“Vibe On” sports an incredibly sexy bassline groove that when played out, there really isn’t much of a choice in whether you get to swing your hips. They come alive and take matters in their own hands. Featuring the sultry vocals of Michael Odokara, whom recently scored a role in the film Pitch Perfect 2, lends his expert voice in helping to round this track out to perfection.
As always, option4 brings his own flavor to game instead of using the default cookie cutter deep house recipe. There’s soul mixed with a healthy dose of rhythm. Look out over the next few months, as he has 7 EPs slated for release. From the sounds of “Vibe On”, this writer is ecstatic and patiently waiting for the rest.
