Lollapalooza Reveals Insane Lineups For 2016 South American Stops

First conceived and created in 1991 by Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell as a farewell tour for his band, Lollapalooza Music Festival has since become renown among the music community for boasting an eclectic mix of alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop and electronic acts on its annual lineups. The festival toured North America exclusively for its first thirteen years, and recently began its expansion past U.S. borders in 2011, when Lollapalooza made its South American debut in Chile’s capital Santiago. Since 2011, the now multi-stop, multi-continental festival has branched off to include stops in Brazil, Argentina and Germany. Excitingly enough for music buffs and hopeful attendees alike, Lollapalooza just officially released the lineups for their Latin American festivals in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile for March 2016.

Eminem, Florence and the Machine, and Mumford and Sons will headline all three festival stops, set to take place in Brazil on March 12th-13th, in Argentina on March 18th-19th and in Chile on March 19th-20th. Each leg of Lollapalooza’s South American festival tour will also include electronic acts Jack Ü, Zedd, Kaskade, Odesza, RL Grime, Zeds Dead, Flosstradamus, Duke Dumont, A-Trak, and Gramatik, as well as performances from Snoop Dogg, Die Antwoord, Alabama Shakes, Of Monsters and Men, Bad Religion and Tame Impala. International fans of the festival should keep an eye out for more updates from Lollapalooza Colombia, their latest worldly addition coming in October 2016!
