Andrew Luce has been on an absolute tear. A month ago he dropped his brilliant five track EP ‘Blanc‘ which blew fans away for its elegant and immersive production. That of course was not enough for Luce, who proceeded to drop two exceptional singles for Daruma’s Vol 1 and 2, ‘Until Then‘ and ‘So Help Me God.’ Then Luce released an absolutely incendiary remix of the massively popular and oft remixed ‘The Hills.’ Luce took The Weeknd’s beloved track and whipped it up into a trippy and chaotic frenzy. Luce is now following that up with a single for Daruma’s Vol. 003, which also features tracks from some extremely talented artists like Duskus, B. Lewis and Alexander Lewis.
Luce’s new single ‘Yours Truly,’ begins with ominously building chords that lead to a heavenly wash of bass. Luce injects the track with an immersive bassy presence before spicing it up with dreamily shrill arpeggios. Luce then blows up the track with a brain melting sample that signals a euphoric explosion of future bass. The track then closes with appropriately dramatic stabs considering the tumultuous roller coaster ride Luce just engineered. Be sure to check out ‘Yours Truly,’ below and enjoy!
