Need & Necessity – Patience EP

To say the least, the amount of growth the duo from Denver Need & Necessity have experienced this year from their productions to their bookings is the jump start every artist hopes for in their young career. Releasing a single of their own label Night Supply as part of Team Building Vol. 1 to start the summer off, they’ve continued their streak of genius with a remix on Sleazy Deep of Volmer and Blaknet’s “Can I Be Your Man” featuring Zalon.

Being asked back by label boss Rob Made, Need & Necessity dropped on Monday their first official EP with the Sleazy team titled Patience. It’s a four track offering but we’re going to focus on “Say You Need,” a collaboration with fellow Denver artist That John Arnold. A deep cut that’s quite unlike the rest in tempo and in tone, taking a step back with a smooth and silky groove topped with some aggressive wood block hi-hats and ambient vowel chants.
