Tiësto & The Chainsmokers – Split (Only U)
If you have been living under a rock or are just new to the scene, Tiësto and more recently The Chainsmokers (originally due to the overwhelming success of their tune “#Selfie”) are some of the biggest names in the main stream dance community. Indivdually, they’ve done a phenomenal job in continually building their brand, both having a constant stream of releases over the last few months. On August 31, they team up for an exclusive release on Beatport. The track, “Split (Only U),” is coming out on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom record label; it’s proven to be heavy on the bass tones with the snippet they’ve provided us, and the tempo takes off with some catchy lyrics that make for a good combo. If you’re looking for that main stage oomph, you’ve come to the right track with an easily relate able melody that’s prime for a few rounds of shuffling.
