See What Calvin Harris and Avicii are ‘Shazaming’ with New App Feature

For years now you’ve been using Shazam‘s free music ID service to pinpoint exactly who your favorite DJs are playing in their live sets. Now, with a new feature rolled out this week, you can see who those same artists themselves are “Shazaming” when they’re offstage. Yesterday Shazam put out a press release announcing a new discovery feature in partnership with over 30 of its most popular artists.

“Starting today, fans can share in the thrill of music discovery with artists they love. Shazam users can now follow top artists like Pitbull, Calvin Harris, Meghan Trainor, Avicii, Jason Derulo, Coldplay and others to see what they’re Shazaming. This gives fans a unique view into the moments when the world’s biggest hit-makers discover music that inspires them.

‘Our users Shazam over 20 million times each day to discover the music playing around them,’ said Rich Riley, Chief Executive Officer at Shazam. ‘Now, those Shazams transform into an ongoing relationship with artists, giving users a truly unique place to get great music content.’ “

They plan to quickly expand the service to feature “hundreds of additional artists from around the world,” meaning that plenty more of your favorite artists will soon be sharing their favorite tunes with you via the app. Below are all of the bands and producers currently featured, as well as the number of followers they have on the music service:
