Fans can now finally rejoice, as the finished product has finally come to fruition. The original ‘Sea of Voices‘ was an absolute masterpiece, as Porter Robinson constructed a dreamy, immersive soundscape with a powerfully beautiful climax. Who better to tackle this track than Ninth Parallel, the wunderkind responsible for masterful original songs like ‘Verloren,’ ‘Dare‘ and ‘Reentry.’
Ninth Parallel explains that he viewed his remake of ‘Sea of Voices’ as more of a tribute to Porter’s music than a remix. While Porter’s version develops slowly and methodically, Ninth Parallel builds the energy and emotion from the get go. This song will take you on an emotional roller coaster, complete with the intensely powerful joyful explosions that have become a hallmark of Porter Robinson’s music. Remixing such a brilliant song is damn near impossible, but Ninth Parallel pulled it off by impressively doing the original justice. While others like RAC and Social Status have remixed ‘Sea of Voices,’ Ninth Parallel’s version easily takes the cake.
