Martin Garrix Debuts Remix of The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face”

Martin Garrix certainly seems to have quite a few magic tricks up his sleeve. In his most recent act at Digital Dreams Festival in Toronto, Canada, Garrix pulled from his hat a brand new remix of The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.”

The remix represents yet another style that the 19-year-0ld is apparently capable of producing. Choosing to go with a heavy drum style drop that most would not expect to go well with The Weeknd’s silky smooth vocals, but the kid took a risk and it paid off. It seems like “Can’t Feel My Face” is everywhere right now, and Garrix is capitalizing on that. With the upcoming popularity contest, known as the DJ Magazine Top 100, just opening their voting, many expect Garrix to top his 2014 fourth place finish; if he keeps dropping unexpected gems like this, it certainly doesn’t seem unlikely. Check out the surprisingly good live recording of Garrix’s remix of “Can’t Feel My Face” taken at Digital Dreams below, and keep your eyes open for a release date.
