[EDMT Exclusive] Bobby Burns – Satellites (feat. Hannah Robinson)

Bobby Burns – Satellites (feat. Hannah Robinson)

Spinnin’ Records is relentless. The independent Dutch label is quite possibly the most prolific label in dance music, with countless new releases dropping like clockwork, and artists blossoming like it’s Spring year-around. We’ve loved the recent sounds coming out of both their primary imprint, and sub-label Spinnin’ Deep, and are proud to bring you an exclusive first look at their next release: Bobby Burns’ “Satellites” featuring Hannah Robinson.

Bobby Burns has been in the game since ’96, with loads of radio time on BBC1, successful collabs with mainstage acts like Afrojack, and maintained support from the likes of Calvin Harris, Axwell, and Dada Life. “Satellites” continues to build his repertoire as a smile inducing, roof raising, floor burning progressive raver of a tune.

The hype in “Satellites” is in large part due to Robinson’s massive vocals, as credited by Burns himself.

“She had been writing for her new album when she heard my instrumental, and felt like her lyrics were custom made for the music I’d sent her. When I received the stems of ‘Satellites’ I was stunned. Her indie kinda voice left me with goosebumps.”

They’ve left us with goosebumps as well. “Satellites” fittingly builds upon those vocals with a  sky rocketing melody, blasted up with quirky supporting synths and a rolling bassline. This single is yet another example of Spinnin’ Records’ knack for snagging the latest and greatest in dance music, and we’re sure that “Satellites” will be sent off to great success.
