Dusky – Jilted
There isn’t much Dusky hasn’t been able to accomplish since bursting onto the scene back in 2011. They released tracks like ‘Lost in You’ and ‘Mr. Man’ on Anjunadeep, extended plays ‘Nobody Else’ and ‘Careless’ on Aus Music (which won them Best British Producers of 2013 by DJ Mag) all while taking it to the next level by starting their own label 17 Steps.
Creating a tune “for the ravers,” Dusky has announced the release of a brand new EP Ordinary World, out on July 31, with a fresh cut tilted, ‘Jilted’. Really taken aback by abrupt “up in your face” robotic swells, the track is taken over by an enormous kick drum and accompanying bassline, helping to keep at bay the growing trend of pop house. You can catch Dusky at gigs like Bestival and Spring Awakening Music Festival this weekend, EDC Vegas and a headlining slot at the Brooklyn club Verboten with many more gigs slated for the rest of the summer.
