On June 6th and 7th, Howard and Guy Lawrence (better known as Disclosure) played host to Wild Life Festival at Brighton City Airport. The weekend event featured performances from their co-curators Rudimental, Seth Troxler, Nas and, you guessed it, Disclosure. Also broadcast during the event was a special announcement from Disclosure: Their new album will be titled Caracal, and it’ll be released on September 25th. This is the long-awaited followup record to their 2013 mega-success Settle.

The album will feature their new single, ‘Holding On’, which features Gregory Porter, as well as several other collaborations, including ones from Nao, Lion Babe and Kwabs. In addition to the album release announcement, Disclosure has also posted two huge new American tour dates in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena (9/29) and New York at Madison Square Garden (10/24).  Here’s the statement released by Howard Lawrence discussing how the duo picked the name for the their new album:

A caracal is an incredible wild cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year; I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity. It felt like a perfect fit for our Wild Life brand too, so the caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too.
